El Ejido City Council has designed a complete Cultural Summer Cultural Program for the summer of 2020 completely free of charge that contemplates different outdoor activities such as cinema, theater, music and dramatized visits to the Guardias Viejas Castle, although always prioritizing the safety of the neighbors and visitors.

It is for this reason that the municipal manager has emphasized that "the summer proposal calendar is specially drawn up to guarantee compliance with all security measures, avoiding crowds and respecting social distance", hence all of them being outdoors and in open spaces.
